Pain management

We understand that living with pain can significantly impact your quality of life. Our comprehensive pain management services focus on identifying and addressing the root cause of your discomfort, rather than just masking symptoms. We utilize a holistic, non-invasive approach to help you achieve lasting relief and restore optimal function.

Our pain management strategies are tailored to your unique needs and may include:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments: Gentle, precise adjustments to decrease pain and correct spinal misalignments, reduce nerve interference, and improve joint function.
  • Red Light Therapy: Non-invasive light therapy to reduce inflammation, accelerate cellular repair, and alleviate pain.
  • Soft Tissue Therapies: Techniques like dry needling, scraping (IASTM), and cupping to release muscle tension, break down scar tissue, and promote healing in affected areas.
  • Dry Needling: Dry needling is a technique used to relieve muscle pain, tightness and restricted movement. Thin sterile needle target myofascial trigger points to release tension, improve blood flow and promote healing.
  • Corrective Exercises & Rehabilitation: Personalized exercise programs to strengthen weak muscles, improve flexibility, and prevent future pain.
  • Lifestyle and Nutritional Counseling: Guidance on ergonomics, posture, stress management, and nutrition to support your overall health and recovery.

We specialize in managing a wide range of conditions, including:

  • TMJ
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Acute and chronic back pain
  • Neck pain and stiffness
  • Sciatica and nerve pain
  • Joint pain (shoulders, hips, knees, etc.)
  • Sports injuries
  • Arthritis-related discomfort

Our goal is to empower you with the tools and knowledge to manage your pain effectively, improve your mobility, and return to the activities you love, all without relying on medication or invasive procedures.

Prenatal Chiropractic

Pregnancy places unique demands on your body, and prenatal chiropractic care is a safe, gentle way to help you stay comfortable and aligned as your baby grows. Our chiropractors use specialized techniques tailored for expectant mothers to reduce pain, support proper pelvic alignment, and optimize nervous system function throughout pregnancy.

Prenatal chiropractic care can help:

  • Relieve low back, hip, pelvic, and sciatic pain
  • Reduce neck and shoulder tension from postural changes
  • Improve pelvic balance and alignment
  • Decrease discomfort from round ligament pain
  • Enhance mobility and overall comfort during pregnancy

We use pregnancy-safe positioning, gentle adjustments, and soft tissue work designed specifically for moms-to-be. Care is always coordinated with your stage of pregnancy and can be integrated alongside your obstetric or midwifery care. Our goal is to support a healthier, more comfortable pregnancy and help prepare your body for labor and delivery.

Postnatal Chiropractic

After childbirth, your body is healing from pregnancy and delivery while adapting to new physical demands like feeding, lifting, and carrying your baby. Postnatal chiropractic care is a gentle, effective way to support this recovery process, restore alignment, and reduce pain and tension.

Our chiropractors use safe, postpartum-specific techniques to:

  • Address back, neck, hip, and pelvic pain
  • Rebalance the spine and pelvis after pregnancy and delivery
  • Relieve tension from nursing/feeding postures and baby care
  • Support core and pelvic stability as you return to daily activities and exercise
  • Improve mobility, posture, and overall comfort

Care plans are individualized and can be coordinated whether you had a vaginal birth or C‑section. We focus on helping new moms feel stronger, more comfortable, and better able to keep up with the physical demands of caring for their baby.

Pediatric Chiropractic

Pediatric chiropractic care focuses on gentle, age-appropriate treatment to support healthy growth, development, and nervous system function in children—from infants through adolescents. Using light, specific adjustments and soft tissue techniques, our chiropractors help address misalignments and tension that can result from birth, falls, sports, poor posture, and everyday activities.

Pediatric chiropractic care may help with:

  • Posture and spinal alignment
  • Breastfeeding and latch difficulties (in infants, in coordination with other providers)
  • Torticollis and head preference
  • Discomfort related to growth spurts
  • Sports and Playground injuries
  • Headaches, neck and back tension
  • General wellness and nervous system support

We always tailor our approach to your child’s size, age, and comfort level, using very gentle pressure and techniques appropriate for developing bodies. Our goal is to provide a calm, kid-friendly environment where children feel safe and supported, while helping parents feel confident in their child’s care.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a specialized chiropractic therapy used to relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve movement. At our clinic, dry needling is performed by chiropractors who are trained in advanced neuromuscular assessment and manual therapy techniques.

During a dry needling session, your chiropractor uses a very thin, sterile, single-use needle to gently target “trigger points” or tight areas within a muscle. These trigger points can contribute to joint restriction, referred pain, and movement dysfunction—often the same issues we address with chiropractic adjustments.

Dry needling can help:

  • Decrease muscle tightness and spasms
  • Relieve localized and referred pain (such as headaches, neck and back pain)
  • Improve joint mobility and posture
  • Enhance the effectiveness and longevity of your chiropractic adjustments
  • Support recovery from sports and overuse injuries

Common conditions we treat with dry needling include:

  • Neck and low back pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Shoulder, hip, and knee pain
  • Sciatica and radicular pain
  • Myofascial pain syndromes and muscle strains
  • Sports and repetitive strain injuries

Most patients report only mild discomfort during treatment, often described as a brief “dull ache” or muscle twitch. Some temporary soreness may occur for 24–48 hours, followed by a noticeable reduction in pain and improvement in mobility.

Dry needling is different from acupuncture. While both use similar needles, dry needling is based on Western anatomy, orthopedics, and neuromuscular science, and is integrated into your overall chiropractic care plan, which may also include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and posture education.

If you tell me where this will be used (website service page, brochure, or intake/consent form), I can shorten or further customize the wording and tone.

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment we use to support your body’s natural healing and enhance the results of your chiropractic care. Using specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light, this therapy penetrates the skin to stimulate cellular energy production, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair.

At our chiropractic office, red light therapy is commonly used to help:

  • Decrease pain and inflammation
  • Speed recovery from injuries and workouts
  • Support healing of muscles, tendons, and joints
  • Improve circulation and tissue oxygenation
  • Reduce stiffness and enhance mobility

Red light therapy is painless, drug-free, and has no downtime. Many patients find it relaxing and notice improved comfort and mobility when it’s combined with adjustments, soft tissue work, and corrective exercises.

Scraping

Scraping, also known as Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), is a specialized chiropractic technique that uses ergonomically designed instruments to detect and treat areas of soft tissue dysfunction. This therapy is highly effective for addressing scar tissue, adhesions, and fascial restrictions that can limit movement and cause pain.

Our chiropractors utilize IASTM to:

  • Break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions
  • Improve range of motion and flexibility
  • Reduce pain and inflammation in muscles, tendons, and ligaments
  • Accelerate healing and recovery from injuries
  • Enhance blood flow and cellular activity in the treated area

IASTM works by creating controlled microtrauma to the affected soft tissue, which stimulates a local inflammatory response and restarts the healing process. This helps remodel scar tissue and promote the proper alignment of new, healthy tissue fibers. It is often combined with chiropractic adjustments and corrective exercises to optimize your recovery and improve overall function.

Common conditions that benefit from scraping/IASTM include:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Headaches
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Rotator cuff tendinitis
  • Shin splints
  • Sciatica
  • Muscle strains and sprains

Some patients feel mild discomfort during the procedure and temporary soreness for a day or two afterward, but most notice improved mobility and decreased pain as treatment progresses.

Cupping

Cupping is a gentle, hands-on therapy we use to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and support your body’s natural healing—especially when combined with chiropractic care. During a cupping session, specialized cups are placed on the skin to create a comfortable suction, lifting the tissue rather than compressing it. This negative pressure helps loosen tight muscles and fascia, draw fresh blood to the area, and encourage the removal of metabolic waste.

At our chiropractic office, cupping is often used to:

  • Reduce muscle tightness, knots, and trigger points
  • Decrease pain and stiffness in the neck, back, and shoulders
  • Improve circulation and tissue mobility
  • Support recovery from sports and overuse injuries
  • Enhance the effectiveness of adjustments and other soft tissue work

Cupping may leave temporary, painless circular marks on the skin that usually fade within a few days and are a normal sign of increased circulation in the area. Many patients find cupping relaxing and notice improved mobility and relief from soreness as part of their overall chiropractic treatment plan.
